Information
It enables access to the professional competencies of the Naval Technical Engineer (Specializing in Marine Structures), the European Naval Architect, and, once this profession is officially recognized in Spain, the Naval Architect.
Among its primary objectives are:
- Preparation, endorsement, and advancement of projects within Naval Architecture, encompassing construction, assembly, modification, operation, maintenance, repair, or decommissioning of ships, boats, and marine structures, as well as overseeing manufacturing, installation, assembly, or operation of naval and oceanic equipment and systems.
- Conducting measurements, calculations, assessments, valuations, studies, reports, work plans, and similar tasks within the realm of Naval Architecture.
- Organizing and coordinating activities pertaining to marine systems within shipyards and maritime institutions and organizations.
- Analyzing and evaluating the societal and environmental ramifications of naval technical solutions.
- Managing compliance with mandatory specifications, regulations, and standards primarily affecting the design of marine systems and their installation aboard vessels.
